Bernard "Buddy" Rich (September 30, 1917 – April 2, 1987) was an American jazz drummer, bandleader and former Marine. Rich was billed as "the world's greatest drummer" and was known for his virtuoso technique, power, and speed.

Richard David James (born 18 August 1971), better known as Aphex Twin, is an electronic music artist who has been described as "the most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music". He founded the electronic record label Rephlex Records in 1991 with friend Grant Wilson-Claridge. Artillery - By Inheritance

Artillery is a Danish Technical Thrash Metal band. They participated in the early development of the genre, and their highly energetic, riff-centric and often fast-paced music is similar in style to that of Slayer and Megadeth from the same era. The band formed in 1982 in Taastrup, a suburb to Copenhagen. Spiritual Beggars was formed in 1994 by Michael Amott, the band was started as a side project after Michael left Carcass. The band debuted with the self-titled Spiritual Beggars in 1994, and have since released albums as Michael's schedule permits, including 1996's Another Way to Shine. Spiritual Beggars are basically a reversion to true rock roots. Although this is no-way a retrogression of musical techniques. Fleurety - Min Tid Skal Komme

A Post-Black/Avant-Garde Metal band from Ytre Enebakk, Norway. Fleurety started out with structual influences from early rock, but later broadened their musical horizon by experimenting with various elements of Jazz and Industrial music. In 1995, the band released the album Min Tid Skal Komme, as a cooperation between Aesthetic Death Records and Misanthropy Records. This recording featured a Progressive/Psychedelic Black Metal style with atonal harmonics, folk music elements, and female vocals by Norwegian pop singer Marian Aas Hansen.

Granted the name of this Detroit 4 piece sounds more suited to members of some Jim Jones styled Kool-Aid drinking suicide cult, but this band from the Motor City worships at the altar of early 70's blues based rock. Think Humble Pie, Cactus, Mountain and Grand Funk Railroad mixed with high octane blues boogie and you might get an approximation of what to expect on the band's debut release 'Hand Of God'.

GTA San Andreas: K-Rose

K-Rose is a Classic Country station from the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, hosted by Mary-Beth Maybell (voiced by Riette Burdick), and based in Bone County (Fort Carson). Mary-Beth has been married numerous times, many of her husbands having died under suspicious circumstances. A few songs tend to stand out among the rest ("Amos Moses" by Jerry Reed, "All My Exes Live In Texas" by Whitey Shafer). This music is perfect for sitting on the porch on a calm, warm summer day with a lit cigarette in one hand and a bottle of Jack in the other. Or, driving that trusty old Ford truck down that long vacant country road on the way to pick up your woman. Relaxing tunes make for a comfortable atmosphere.

Beast In The Field - Goat Isle Séance

Hailing from Michigan, Beast in the Field consists of just one guitarist (Jordan Pries) and one drummer (Jamie Jahr), and these two are able to make quite a lot of noise between them. Goat Isle Séance, their debut release, features massive, feedback-drenched riffs and rhythms, delivered in two styles: full-on gallop, and slow, doomy crawl. The recording sounds appropriately ragged and bludgeoning, done old-skool analog in the studio (making best use of the vintage Sunn, Orange and Sound City amps and classic Ludwig drum kit, for those of you keeping score).

Sea of Green - Northern Lights

Sea of Green was a Toronto-based rock band combining elements of metal and psychedelia into their sound. The band was formed in 1999 by Travis Cardinal, Eric Kuthe on bass, and Chris Bender. Due to obvious drug references in many of their lyrics, Sea of Green are largely classified as Stoner Rock. They released their first EP, Northern Lights, on the Music Cartel label in July of 2000. In 2004, the band broke up amidst long-standing difficulties with their record label.
