Whitey Morgan & The 78's - Honky Tonks and Cheap Motels

Whitey Morgan and the boys hail from Flint, MI. That’s nowhere near Nashvegas. The factories are closed, jobs are scarce and the people are bitter. Whitey sings songs these people can relate to. In the spirit of Waylon, Merle and Willie; Whitey’s melodies help people forget their problems for a few hours and serve as the guideline for drinking sorrows away. The halftime groove brings out everyone’s dancing shoes and while Whitey plays, the world is a better place.

Doop & The Inside Outlaws - Blood River

The Inside Outlaws Collective is an exclusive group of singer-songwriters and musicians loosely based out of Downriver Detroit. Co-founded by Sam Wood, Don “Doop” Duprie and Top Dog/Atlantic recording artist Ty Stone, the Collective also includes Scott Kinson, Pat V and the Detroit 3, Screamray, and Matt D’Mitz. Born from the theory that hard work, determination and faith can get you anywhere, the Inside Outlaws created an organization designed to find and develop talented singer/songwriters. Through their collective efforts, the Inside Outlaws have secured major label record and publishing deals, produced outstanding performances from clubs to arenas nationwide, and through their Nashville office have made a name for themselves as a player in the professional songwriter’s scene. Universal Temple Of Divine Power - Hand Of God

Granted the name of this Detroit 4 piece sounds more suited to members of some Jim Jones styled Kool-Aid drinking suicide cult, but this band from the Motor City worships at the altar of early 70's blues based rock. Think Humble Pie, Cactus, Mountain and Grand Funk Railroad mixed with high octane blues boogie and you might get an approximation of what to expect on the band's debut release 'Hand Of God'.
