Brownsville Station - Motor City Connection

Brownsville Station was a band from Michigan that was popular in the 1970s. One of its earliest hits (1970) was called "Bebop Confidential" with songwriting credits given to band founder Cub Koda. Original members included Koda (guitarist/vocalist), Mike Lutz (guitarist/vocalist), T.J. Cronley (drummer), and Tony Driggins (bassist/vocals). They're best known for their hit song, "Smokin' In The Boys Room", from '73. Motor City Connection, released in '75, is considered the "hangover" album, themed around self-recrimination, guilt, and lonliness. But don't let that fool you... this album rocks pretty bloody hard, and should not be overlooked... so add it to your collection!
